Destructive Testing (DT) Services
Elme TKS provides a comprehensive range of destructive testing (DT) services to assess the mechanical properties, internal integrity, and standards compliance of metals and welded joints. Our services are intended for manufacturers, engineers, welders, and quality control specialists who require reliable data on the strength, toughness, and workmanship quality of structures and materials.
Destructive Testing Methods Performed
Tensile Testing – determines tensile strength, yield strength, and elongation.
Bend Testing – evaluates the toughness of welded joints and reveals welding defects.
Impact Testing (Charpy) – measures impact toughness at various temperatures.
Fracture Testing – exposes internal weld defects through fracture surface analysis.
Hardness Testing – determines surface hardness (e.g. Brinell, Vickers, Rockwell).
Macrostructural Examination – visual cross-section analysis for assessing weld quality.
Surface Roughness Measurement – quantitative assessment of surface smoothness and roughness parameters.
Plasma Cutting and Gas Cutting Quality Assessment – evaluation of cut edge quality and processing marks in accordance with ISO standards.
All tests are performed using calibrated equipment by experienced laboratory specialists and in compliance with international standards. The outcome is a detailed test report that supports quality assurance and safe technical decision-making.
